Cozy Knits and Sweaters

Fall fashion wouldn’t be complete without cozy knits and sweaters. This year, we’re loving the collections from local boutiques like this gem I found at Meraki Moon. Chunky cable-knit sweaters in rich, earthy tones are a must-have. Pair them with slim-fitting jeans or a flowing skirt for a comfortable yet stylish look.

Earthy Tones and Moody Hues

For the fall season, embrace the earthy palette with colors like rust, olive, and deep burgundy. One of my favorite local spots, Kismet, has a stunning collection this year that epitomizes this trend. From coats to dresses and accessories, Kismet offers a variety of pieces that seamlessly blend into the season’s ambiance.

Fall 2023 is all about sustainability. What better way to show support for the environment then by shopping at local boutiques committed to eco-friendly practices. I recently stumbled upon Boutique Marguerite and their mission is all about allowing you to NOT have to choose between looking fabulous and living an echo-conscious lifestyle – you guys hav to check them out!

Leather and Faux Leather

Leather and faux leather are making a strong comeback this fall per usual babes. This cutie midi skirt can be found at Stitch along with an array of other leather jackets and accessories to help you rock this trend. Pair a leather jacket with a floral dress for a fantastic contrast.

Tailored Blazers

Blazers are such a staple and so versatile, they never go out of style. This fall, opt for tailored blazers in houndstooth or plaid patterns or go with something that is a staple wardrobe piece and easily layer it with what you’ve got, like this cute crop blazer from Ruby Jane!

In addition to plaid blazers, plaid overcoats are a chic addition to your fall wardrobe. Look for local finds like this cutie at Melrose and Madison on South Pearl St.. They also have a decently wide variety of plaid overcoats in different colors and styles. They are perfect for adding a touch of retro charm to your ensemble this year, plus you never know when you will need that extra layer!
