My secret to looking fab’ on the fly!

The Denver Look | Outfit Tips

Hi babes, it’s ya girl Olivia Merrill here! I hope you all enjoyed the holiday this year. My favorite part? The parties of course, and all of my holiday shopping! I actually was able to get most of it done early this year, which left some extra time and cash for my holiday wardrobe. I threw this fabulous look together in all of about 5 minutes (no joke) for a quick shoot and party to follow and I absolutely wanted to share my ”how to” secrets with you guys!

My base piece here is this darling skirt (now on sale for $29.99, linked below) and I paired it with a green turtle neck both, found at Zara. I normally would only match this type of busy pattern with colors already found in the item…. however, there is one thing I’ve been keeping in mind lately which is that fashion has no guidelines, no rules and that we should be expressing ourselves through it. My style changes so much from day to day, I can’t stick to the same old thing and neither should you – mix it up babes!

Keeping this in mind, while rushing out the door, I picked the funkiest pair of tights I had and matched my shoe color to the color of my blouse in order to capture just a hint of color correlation.

Threw this faux fur coat over the fit and paired it with this chic pink bag from True’s summer line. Psttt… It’s okay to mix summer pieces in with your fall and even your winter wardrobe!

My big secret? Mix and match your patterns and colors … And never be afraid of standing out.

XOXO, Olivia Merrill
